Cheri was born in Ft. Pierce, FL to a family of native Floridians and pastors. After earning a degree in Theatre Arts Cheri followed her grandparents into church service and served three congregations over 15 years as Youth Pastor. In 2003 Cheri answered the call to attend seminary and in 2011 she completed her Masters in Theological Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, Orlando.
Cheri’s writing credits include over 400 articles in such magazines at Marriage Partnership, Light & Life the Lookout, and CBN.com; her warm and heart-touching stories are in over ten story collection books including Chicken Soup for the Grandma’s Soul and God’s Handprints.
Cheri is married to her wonderful husband of 27 years, Randy, and they make Orlando Florida their home.
Wanda completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from a Christian University, Palm Beach Atlantic University. She was the Chief Operating Officer of a publicly traded mortgage company before following her passion and switching to counseling. She has a private practice working with addictions, eating disorders, and trauma and is a consultant providing licensing, accreditation, auditing, and training services to agencies in the same three fields. She has served as the Governance Chair of the Board of Director for another non-profit organization and has been active on numerous fund-raising committees.
Rebecca offers more than 30 years of experience building, analyzing, and improving processes and systems. Her God-given passion for diagnosing and remedying the root
causes of inefficiency, conflict, or poor performance began in college as her sorority's House Manager, continued through seventeen professional years in healthcare administration spanning hospitals,
managed care networks, HMO capitation payments/contract management and a large physician practice, 30 years of marriage, and 20 years (so far) of raising two sons. She is excited about the
opportunity to apply her passion to Living Parables of Central Florida’s mission and vision of providing micro-loans to
non-profit ministry start-ups.
Randy Cowell is also a native Floridan and received his business administration degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He currently serves as Client Relations Director for TeamMate, a Wolters Klower company. Randy's extensive experience in business as Regional Sales Director, Sales Manager and Senior Auditor make him a valuable asset on the Board at LPOCF. His support and guidance has been invaluable to the endeavors of LPOCF. Being the husband of Cheri is an added bonus!
Brian Barrelle is a native Floridian and grew up on the Space Coast. He received a computer science degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He currently serves as the Director of Re/Vue Products for EIZO Rugged Solutions overseeing the development, marketing and sales of an Air Traffic Control Recording Solution. He is married, has two daughters and enjoys serving in youth ministry at his church.
Lily Crowell has lived in Central Florida since 1971 and graduated from the University Of Central Florida with a BA in Sociology. As one of her first jobs she worked as the Branch Manager for Kelly Temporary Services. She is happily married for over 30 years to Stewart. Early on in her career, her husband had an opportunity to open his own business. It was a leap of faith, and since 1988 she has run the business operations for their residential and commercial painting business in Central Florida. She is active with the Oviedo-Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Winter Springs. They have two wonderful grown sons. Lily is looking forward to helping realize the vision of Living Parables of Central Florida.
Kenny Tucker has been a United Methodist minister in the Holston Conference for 28 years and has served 8 churches during this time. He currently serves as pastor of Wears Valley United Methodist Church in Sevierville, Tennessee. He also serves as a mentor, in the Smoky Mountain District, to candidates discerning ministerial vocations. He is an active member of the Great Smoky Mountain Emmaus Community and serves on the Advisory Board of the Sevierville Salvation Army Unit.
Kenny earned his Associate of Science degree from Hiwassee College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson University and Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Kenny has been married to his wife Robyn for 40 years. They have two children and 5 grandchildren. Kenny loves to spend time with his family and serve Wears Valley UMC. His hobbies include spring and summer gardening, helping his wife craft, kayaking, quilting, and creating things in general.
